Repashy Pumpkin Pie 3 oz.
Repashy is proud to introduce its new Seasonal Blend for Winter 2019/2020.
Repashy “Pumpkin Pie” Gel Diet is our first Seasonal Blend that is not specifically a gecko diet. However, it is a great omnivore formula that you might just find your geckos like as well. It was really difficult to decide on a photo for the label. No matter what the label says as far as applications, as soon as you put a photo on it, a huge percentage of people just look at the image, and think that the formula is designed for just that species. This can’t be further from the truth.
Repashy Pumpkin Pie was originally formulated with bearded dragons in mind, but it quickly became apparent that its potential went way beyond that. It makes a great staple diet for omnivores and an awesome treat for Herbivores to get them a little protein boost. With this label, we found a way to squeeze two really awesome photos from photographer Megan Makus, one of a beautiful Red-Footed Tortoise, and another of an awesome Bearded Dragon. Forest Tortoises like Red Foots have a diet that is much more omnivorous than your typical tortoise and they are a beautiful species that fits just perfectly with this new formula and label.
This new and exciting seasonal blend uses more than 60% real dehydrated Pumpkin that was grown in the USA. To balance the formula out as an omnivore blend, we have included whey protein, egg, and Black Soldier Fly larvae meal to add protein, fat, and flavor. This along with our standard vitamin and mineral supplemention, makes it a very well balanced formula that meets the nutritional needs of Omnivores, and a suitable treat for Herbivores and Frugivores. It’s a nice orange color that gets the attention of the animals, and once they get close enough, the irresistible smell of pumpkin stimulates a great feeding response.
Like out Repashy “Banana Cream Pie” This formula can be fed as a slurry, paste, or Gel. As a gel, its suitable for most species, but for some species such as Geckos, it works great as a slurry. Our Rhacodactylus such as crested geckos actually ate this formula very well as a slurry, and it does meet their dietary requireme
